19/04/23 Update

Further to the below, unfortunately, the contractor, Clifford Hayles was unable to honour the instruction and DoorEntry.net have been instructed instead.

DoorEntry.net will be starting the installation on Tuesday 2nd May 2023.

Please assist them with any access requests in order for them to carry the installation as quickly as possible.

They will of course keep any disturbances to a minimum, but if you have any questions, please contact us directly.

22.03.23 Update.

We are pleased to confirm that instructions have been passed to Clifford Hayles to renew the faulty entry phone system at Sirus House, we do appreciate the members patience on this matter. The tender process was very close, and one contractors price needed a lot of investigation into forward costings versus a like for like renewal. The Board have agreed to go for a like for like system, and we anticipate receiving a start date within the next month, or sooner if possible. The old system hardware will be retained for spare parts, to use for repairs in other House’s in the future.

21.02.23 update. 

Dear all 

We are now in possession of three quotes for the intercom replacement, all of which are with the Board of Directors for their consideration. Once a decision has been made on which contractor and system to install, we will update you further.

10.02.23 update 

As you may be aware , the intercom has been out of action with connection problems from main unit to individual handsets.

Regrettably the system is not repairable, due to parts now being obsolete. However, we do have two quotations for replacements already in hand and a further meeting this week is planned so a third contractor can provide a further quotation. We should then be in a position to instruct for a replacement soonest.
